Bill Murray All Nighter At The Prince Charles Cinema

Bill Murray: greatest actor of our time. What's that? Pacino? De Niro? Pshaw. Can they break your heart and make you laugh? Have you seen Analyze That?

The Prince Charles Cinema clearly agrees with at least some of this, because it's showing six Murray films in an all-nighter on 24 August. The line-up is Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, Lost in Translation, What About Bob?, The Life Acquatic with Steve Zissou and Groundhog Day. We can argue about these choices all day (Rushmore is a better film than Life Aquatic), but it's still a sextet of wonderful.

The Murray marathon starts at 8.45pm and costs £25 (£22.50 if you're a member). There's no admittance after midnight, presumably to stop any Leicester Square drunks deciding What About Bob? is a brilliant idea at 2am, but also maybe to stop anyone getting punched for wandering in during a reflective moment of Lost in Translation.

Murray Fest is on at the Prince Charles Cinema, 7 Leicester Place WC2, from 8.45pm on 24 August. For more information and to book see the cinema website.
