Random London Fact of the Day
You can remember the order of the theatres on Shaftesbury Avenue, south-west to north-east, with the mnemonic "Little Apples Grow Quicker, Please" (Lyric, Apollo, Gielgud, Queen’s, Palace).

Good Cause of the Day
The Big Issue Foundation's Big Sleep Out is back, with an all-night sleepover to help raise money for the charity and show support for vendors. On 26 April 2013, those who sign up will be asked to camp out in a giant warehouse in Earlsfield, where live music, entertainment and talks should keep the mood lively. Registration costs £20, with an expected sponsorship target of £150 per person. Sign up here.

London Weather
Another chillsome start to the day, with slap-bastard winds and the temperature scarcely mastering zero. Mark our words: it's the start of a new Ice Age. As noted belletrist Arnold Schwarzenegger counseled in the seminal 1997 movie Batman & Robin, "My name is Freeze. Learn it well. For it is the chilling sound of your doom!"
