Random London Fact of the Day
Today's fact is from Federica Pojaga, who found this while reading this great article by John Lanchester. Apparently, the first tube train on the whole underground network in the morning is the District Line train leaving Upminster depot at 4.53am. It's the only train active before 5am.

And the award for most trenchantly uninteresting, repetitive weather of the year goes to........London, on 7 March 2013. At least the rain gets a bit more pixellated after 8pm. We'll look forward to that.
