Random London Fact Of The Day

Despite the barriers and police presence, you can drive right up to 10 Downing Street...in Google Street View. Try it. Also, look carefully and you can even see Larry the Cat, Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office. (Thanks to Sarah McCabe for the tip and @StreathamHaze for the cat spotting skills). Send your own weird bits of London trivia to matt@londonist.com.)

Weather

The leaden skies refuse to clear, bringing an air of despond and depression over the entire city. The denizens of Hoxton know this feeling well, being party to a similar blanket of blandness, advertising a well known shoe company. Seriously, have you seen Old Street Station lately?

Secret Hidden False Rumour Of The Day
The famous black door of 10 Downing Street is painted using the ashes of former Prime Ministers, mixed into a paste.
