We're holding another London-themed pub quiz on 6 December. Old hands at our pub quizzes will know that these never take place in pubs: previous venues include a book shop, a surgical museum, a scientific institution and a football stadium. This time round, the action takes place in a pair of former shipping containers, at Boxpark, Shoreditch.
Those shipping containers are now home to Hôp Namô, a bloody good Vietnamese restaurant. They'll be serving up yummies for quiz participants. Booze drinks will also be available.
The night will feature 50 questions about London over the past 12 months. Olympics, Jubilee, Mayoral elections...a fairly quiet year for the capital, then. The winners will receive a London goody bag, and we might have one or two other treats to hand out. Attendees will also get a 20% discount on selected brands around the Boxpark complex, and will get to see the IdeasTap exhibition of art inspired by Christmas.
NOTE: This event is now fully booked. However, you can still get your name on the waiting list in case teams drop out (see note below). We're also looking at getting a second date at another venue.
Londonist's Quiz of the Year runs on 6 December at Hôp Namô, Boxpark, Shoreditch, 6-9pm (quiz starts at 7pm, but assemble earlier for food, drink and chat). Entrance is free, but must be prebooked by emailing [email protected] with your team size. Space is tight (40 people), so we're limiting team sizes to 2 to 4 people.
