For its September late opening, the Museum of London Docklands will roll out the barrels of rum. A special evening devoted to the spirit includes rum tastings, cooking with rum, cocktail mixing classes, a steel band and more besides.
The museum was formerly a dockside warehouse used, among other things, for rum storage, so the event is not without a certain historical authenticity. Needless to say, it's adults only, and annoying pirate impressions probably aren't welcome.
