66 people convicted of of criminal offences during the London riots have been named by police and their pictures posted online.
The move is the latest in a series of actions against those who took part in the riots; yesterday 100 homes in London were raided to arrest more suspects while earlier this month, further CCTV images of people wanted for questioning were released.
Investigation into the events of August continue with few stones left unturned - a recent parliamentary report found that a slow response by police exacerbated the rioting, while use of plastic bullets and water cannon are being mooted in future cases of public disorder.
The Met has made a total 3423 arrests with 2179 people charged or summonsed.
