Friday: Get a taste of Malaysia in Trafalgar Square between 3-10pm with Malaysia Night, featuring traditional and contemporary performances and loads of street food to try (free entry).

Science Uncovered is the Natural History Museum's biggest ever late giving you the chance to be a CSI for a night, work alongside museum scientists at an operating table or just prop up the Science bar, between 4-11pm (free).

Experience the Heygate Estate after dark before it gets knocked down with ghostly after dark storytelling in the Supernatural Urban Forest from 8pm. Email neckingernell@yahoo.com to book your place and find out where to meet (free).

Saturday: Watch out for dance, music, theatre, tug of war, films, dog show, wine tasting, beer tent, fashion show and general joymaking at Bermondsey Street Festival with kids stuff starting at 11am and stuff going on till late (free).

Embark on a sustainable transport treasure trail round Camden (free)

Take an Autumn Amble with Walk London! Saturday and Sunday (free).

The Big Draw's Big Splash celebrates illustration for children and adults with an afternoon of activities and a guest appearance by Quentin Blake between 12-5pm at Kings Place (free).

Sunday: Go painting in Russia Dock Woodland with artist John Gustard between 10am-5pm (free but please book).

Thursday: Strut your stuff at the last Tango @ Spitalfields of the summer. Complete beginners at 6.30pm, group dancing from 7-9pm (free).

Join the first 'Fortmanteau', the first gathering of the London Fortean Society discussing conspiracy theories at The Bell, Middlesex Street E1 from 7.30pm (£3/2).
