Preview: Lee Valley International Horseball Cup

Splice rugby, basketball and equestrianism and you get horseball, an all action team game played on horseback featuring frequent ball passes and goals scored through hoops.

This weekend, international horseball saddles up at Lee Valley Riding Centre, as French and British teams compete for the Lee Valley Cup. Spectators go free and are welcome to snoop round the stables and find out how to get involved in the sport in London.

Lee Valley International Horseball Cup action starts from 11am this Saturday and Sunday as part of London 2012 Open Weekend.
