Try an alternative board meeting at Broadgate Circus this week, on this urban surf course. The so-called FlowRider is basically a quarter-pipe filled with churning water. The organisers reckon you can have a thoroughly good time whether you've ridden a board before or are a complete novice. Those taking part get full tuition and a hire of a rather fetching wet suit. It's free to take part, and you can enter a team to compete with rival offices.
