Hop Randomly Around Town With Robot Flaneur

Utterly useless but strangely compelling site of the week has to go to Robot Flâneur. The idea is simple. You find yourself in a random London location in Google's Street View. Thirty seconds later you're teleported to another random location. That's it.

The idea plays on the idea of the 'flâneur', one who wanders around town with no fixed purpose. Robot Flâneur is oddly addictive. Can you work out where you've been transported to before you leap to another part of town?

The site is the work of James Bridle, who has many wonderful diversions to his name. The site allows similar digital wanderings in other cities such as Berlin, New York, San Francisco and Tokyo.
