Super-Expensive Picasso On Show At Tate Modern

The most pricey painting ever sold at auction can be viewed at Tate Modern from today.

Picasso's 1932 work Nude, Green Leaves and Bust fetched £65.5 million when it went under the hammer in New York last year.

The nude in question is Picasso's sometime mistress Marie-Therese Walter, who became the subject of many pieces by the prolific Spaniard.

The work is on loan to the gallery from its anonymous owner. You'll find the piece in the Poetry and Dream wing on Level 3 of the gallery.

A major exhibition of Picasso's work will open at Tate Britain next year.
