Lords To Get On Their Bikes

Or they hope to be soon anyway. After the recent news that Waterloo station will be getting a new and improved Boris bike station, it seems the House of Lords are determined to get in on the action and have managed to get the go ahead for a new docking station close to Parliament. TfL are also looking at further sites in SE1 though the turquoise takeover is meeting resistance in other areas with residents believing the bikes will increase horseplay, anti-social behaviour and, most bizarrely, bird poo. Let's hope the cycling Lords take note and leave their hoodies and horses at home. Photo by Stew Dean.
