Alternative Tube Maps: Pubs Of The City Of London

Pubs, the City of London and a fake Tube map. This one spanks all our buttocks. Maths teacher John Coates has put together yet another novelty diagram based on the principles of Harry Beck, this time featuring 124 drinking holes in the square mile.

What mark shall we award the industrious pedagogue? Well, the map is handsomly laid out and contains all of our favourite City pubs. We have to mark him down for including at least three 'stations' called 'All Bar One', though. That would just confuse after a few pints. The abundance may have befuddled Sir Christopher Hatton, who has migrated East from his customary perch in Hatton Garden. So, could try harder, but we'll award Mr Coates a B+ (which is mathematical notation for 'more beer').

If you like what you see, you can pick up a copy of John's map from Stanfords (Covent Garden) or Frameland (Brick Lane). It's also available online from JJM Designs, along with similar maps of other cities, for the price of two pints.
