Have you stopped by Foyles Gallery to have a look at the exhibition yet? Please do. It's free and open during normal Foyles opening hours. Whether you have or not, you are invited to the Private View and party taking place on Friday, 22 October between 6.30pm-9pm. As well as a fine chance to view the pictures and hobnob with like minded Londoners, Londonist contributors, photographers, readers and friends there will be live music, drinks and a spot of prize giving as 5 photographs receive special commendations from our judges - who are:

  • Simon Baker, Curator, Photography and International Art for Tate
  • Mike Seaborne, Curator of Photography at Museum of London Brett Jefferson Stott, Director of Shoot Experience

There will be an extra buzz in the air as it's usually around this time of year we celebrate our birthday. 2010 sees Londonist rack up 6 years on the online block so please come down to give us the bumps and feel free to join us in the Royal George pub afterwards.

RSVP via Facebook or email [email protected] so we can keep an eye on numbers. Thanks.

Thames Barrier to Teddington is at The Gallery at Foyles, 3rd Floor, Charing Cross Road, WC2H 0EB until 2pm on Sunday 24 October. This exhibition is part of Photomonth 2010.
