Towering talent of UK stage and screen, Sir Tom Stoppard is in conversation about his life and work at Cineworld Haymarket on Tuesday (6.30pm, £12.50 / £8). The writer of The Coast of Utopia, Arcadia and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead has turned his talents to films like Empire of the Sun, Brazil and Shakespeare in Love. Stoppard will introduce clips from his films and answer questions from the audience. The event is a fundraiser for charity Open Cinema, who organise a network of film clubs for homeless and socially excluded people to programme and watch films, as well as produce their own work and get it seen by industry professionals.
