Preview: Chocolate Week

chocolate-week copy.jpg Having very much enjoyed the initiative in previous years, we’re delighted to say that today marks the start of another Chocolate Week. With London Restaurant Festival and London Cocktail Week also on it’s going to be a busy one for foodies and their livers, but it’s worth sparing room for some of the events on offer.

There’s the option to indulge in a special edition Chocolate Ecstasy Tour around Belgravia, take part in a blindfolded chocolate tasting at Rococo, or treat yourself to a three course ethical chocolate menu at Acorn House, to mention just a few of the happenings all over town. It will culminate at the weekend with the Chocolate Unwrapped exhibition, which is back and bigger than ever having moved to Vinopolis.

A special shout-out also goes to 108 Marylebone Lane, where we were recently invited to try some Divine chocolate cocktails. Their dark chocolate and whisky shot, which is served warm, is an absolute must-try and (unless we can persuade them otherwise) available for this week only. The ‘choctail’ offerings at The Sanderson and K West are well worth a look, too. We did warn you it was going to be a heavy week...
