With all the high-octane running about we've been doing to get the London Fashion Week pics, it was a welcome treat to take a breather yesterday with some laid back DIY/Vintage fashion, tea and cake. First stop was Covent Garden for Fashion Fete. Many were taking advantage of the makeover/paparazzi shoot whilst the chance to don a top hat or feather boa as they took tea proved irresistable to others. The Welly Wanging was particularly well attended. Just 50p a go and you were in with the chance of winning a pair of Hunter Wellies. The fete closes at 6pm today so still time to get your furry friend spruced up for a go on the 'dog walk'.

Next, Hanbury Hall off Brick Lane, where Georgia Nash had put together her own, unique show. Georgia has been featured in our Rising Designer series so we were looking forward to seeing what she's been up to since. Inspired by Laduree, Paris her latest collection features long, sleek silhouettes of crepes, and tapestries. It moves towards simplicity yet still bears a hint of her signature pearls, buttons and bows. Georgia also showed some of her other pieces. What is obvious is how her heart and soul is infused in every stitch. These are beautifully and lovingly put together creations that are sure to get a wider platform next season.

Georgia is at Spitalfields Market on Fridays and Hanbury Hall every Saturday and Sunday. Her designs can be found at The Closet Box
