Dave HasteIn Pictures: CAMRA Great British Beer Festival 2010
Probably the biggest problem with the Great British Beer Festival is the excess of choice. Just about every independent brewer in the UK, plus a fairly extensive representation from overseas, are represented, making the choice of which beers (or ciders, or perries) to sample a tricky exercise. Even selecting beer-soaking foodstuffs is not straightforward, with a very (un)healthy choice of classically beer-friendly fare available. Still, mustn't grumble - our visit a couple of days ago showed that the nation's biggest beer festival is as good as it ever was. Bravo.
The festival continues until 7pm tomorrow. More details here.
