Dustbin Detectives: Council's Covert Bin-Rifling

Are you an educated urbanite or a prosperous young professional? Kensington and Chelsea council officials should be able to put you straight on your place (and race) in society based on their euphemistically-named 'waste audits', or to the rest of us, snooping through residents' bins. Apparently, the cutbacks to council expenditure haven't seeped through to west London yet so K&C are busy making hay while the sun shines by using council employees and private contractors to identify opportunities for targeted recycling campaigns, or to the rest of us, making judgements about your social profile based on where you buy your food. What a load of rubbish.
