Water Fight Closes Oxford Street

Parts of Oxford Street were closed last night after a massive water fight in Hyde Park spilled out into the road. Up to 1,500 people took part at some point - it started at 1pm and didn't wind up until eight hours later - and the Met were called when things started to get a bit out of hand. We can't help wondering if the organisers were a) too young or b) too hyped up on Red Bull to remember a very similar incident two years ago which ended up with nine arrests from a group of 250. One more question: all that time, where were they getting the water from? (Image / Niecieden)
