Bees To Battersea

If you're interested / worried about the bees disappearing (and you should be), you could bob down to Battersea Park Children's Zoo on Saturday. The Hive Honey Shop will there between 11am-4pm to explain, in a child-friendly way (i.e., accompanied by a six foot cuddly honeybee) what's happening to the bees, plus a chance to quiz beekeepers and see a hive in action. As beekeeping becomes the new hip urban pastime, this is a good chance to discover more (and say hi to a meerkat at the same time). (Image / i.max)
