Online Campaign Launched To Save Ministry Of Sound

2402_ministry.jpg A campaign has been launched to save the grandpappy of clubland, which is threatened with closure due to a new residential block planned for a nearby plot of land. The online petition at Ministry's corporate website has already racked up 5,000 signatures, many of which take umbrage at the comment made by the director of property developer Oakmayne, that "nightclubs come and go". Said one saucer-eyed signatory on the petition: "THIS IS LEGENDARY SACRED GROUND ITS LIKE A CHURCH U CANT KNOCK IT DOWN. ITS HISTORIC." In clubbing circles, nineteen years truly is a long time.
