Plans For Giant Horse Submitted To Council

Mark Wallinger's 'Angel of the South', a gigantic horse 33 times life size, trotted a step closer today as plans were submitted to Gravesham Borough Council. If approved, the brobdingnagian steed will tower above the Kent countryside near the Eurostar tracks at Ebbsfleet, representing the regeneration of the area and the Eastward spread of London. The privately funded project may be complete for 2012.
