Sunday: This one makes us feel all wholesome: join a family barn dance at Cecil Sharp House between 3-5pm and learn lively dances from the British Isles with a live band and caller. For children of all ages with their parents or carers. £5 adults/£3 kids.

Wednesday: There's a talk courtesy of Greenwich Historical Society tonight about the Soames Family. They were wealthy merchants living in Blackheath from the 1840s to the 1930s and among their many mansions were the Red House next to Vanbrugh Castle, Maze Hill House, and 27 Vanbrugh Park. £3 donation suggested from non-members, 7.30pm at the Blackheath Bakehouse.
