This weekend, Canary Wharf played host to sculptors from around the world going head to head with each other in a competition to find the best artists currently working with ice. Armed with chainsaws, chisels and gloves, the teams worked against the clock to create their art from 2x2m blocks of ice.
Anyone over the age of 12 could also take up tools in a free penguin sculpting master class — which many did despite the rain and gloomy skies.
