Chocolate Week Review: Chocolate Unwrapped

A new (and welcome) addition to this year's Chocolate Week is the Chocolate Unwrapped dedicated chocolate event at the May Fair Hotel (which we offered free tix to earlier this week). We eagerly swung by this afternoon and can only advise chocolate lovers from near and far that weren't able to make it today to try their best to visit tomorrow (last day!) for a delicious browse of some of London's and world's most delicious chocolate offerings. Among our many favourites from our Chocolate Unwrapped visit were Gorvett and Stone's exploding milk chocolate frogs, Paul Wayne Gregory's passion fruit truffles (we've never heard “Oh My God!” uttered as quickly as when these babies hit the tongues our of choco-sampling companions), Pacari's chocolate covered banana bites and Auberge du Chocolat's whisky truffle, wasabi and sesame truffle and goat's milk caramel truffle. And we were more than pleased to see our old sweeties Paul A Young and Sweet Things (third place winner of our Cupcake Throwdown) on hand for the occasion.

Tickets to Chocolate Unwrapped are £12.50 in advance from the Ticket Factory or £15 at the door. Visit the Chocolate Unwrapped webpage for more details.
