Mic Fight: Dizzee vs. Prince Harry

1008_dizzee.jpg In the song 2 Far, from his first album, Dizzee Rascal made his relationship with royalty clear: "Queen Elizabeth dont know me / So how can she control me when / I live street and she lives neat". So it wasn't surprising that the Bow-born boy (and future 'Ender) and Eton-educated heir (and lover of the occasional bender) Prince Harry had an awkward meeting over the weekend. The Prince, well known for his cultural sensitivity and concern over race relations, decided to get down with the ethnics by emulating some hip-hop inspired moves when they met backstage at the Wireless festival. Diz was reportedly a little bemused at the lithe display of shadowboxing and gang-inspired handshakes that the royal limbs contorted themselves into, and joked that were Harry not of the Windsor lineage he'd probably have decked him by now. Jolly good japes and all that, but hold on a tic: did one of our rappers (responsible for all that's wrong with society, donchaknow) just threaten the heir to the throne? Expect a rush-job 800 word screed from Dick Littlejohn any day now warning that this is yet another item dropped into the handcart currently whisking us toward hell.
