Londonist Stays In: 8-14 June

Bringing you the most Londony shows on TV and radio over the coming week.

Monday

The Ian Blair Years (Radio 4, 20.00-20.30) Documentary about the maligned former head of the Metropolitan Police.

Ashes to Ashes (BBC2, 21.00-22.00) It's the final installment of the 1980's London-set cop show.

Tuesday

Don't Call Me Stupid (ITV1, 22.35-23.05) Former Tory leader Michael Howard crams up on West End musicals, then pits his wits against Wayne Sleep in a fact-off. Has Charlie Brooker taken over the schedules?

Thursday

Thames Shipwrecks: A Race Against Time (BBC2, 19.00-20.00) River archaeologists tell the stories of seven Thames wrecks, spanning four centuries of maritime calamity.

May Contain Nuts (ITV1, 21.00-22.00) First in a two part comedy, based around a Clapham gated community where all the parents are desperate to get their sprogs into the local posh school.

Saturday

Trooping the Colour: Highlights (BBC2, 19.30-21.00) Unless you're a low-IQ tourist or a uniform fetishist, a somewhat oxymoronic title.

Reign of Fire (BBC1, 22.35-00.10) You may remember the posters from 2002 - dragons breathing fire over the Houses of Parliament. Haven't seen it. Probably rubbish.
