If you work in the City and you're looking for something other than londonist to fill your lunchbreak, we've got this little suggestion.

For just £6 (£5 if you book in advance), you can see some top-class comedy theatre in the form of Shakespeare's Two Gentlemen of Verona at London's Bridewell Theatre from tomorrow lunchtime.

Proteus promises to love Julia forever, until he meets Silvia. Will Silvia fall for his charms, or stay true to Valentine, his best friend? Will Julia win back her man? One of Will's early ones, you'll find the classic "girl dresses as boy" plot here, alongside some of the Bard's top comedy in Launce.

The show lasts 45 minutes, and you can take along your own food and drink. It's lunchbreaks like this that make the afternoons fly by.

Two Gentlemen of Verona plays at the Bridewell Theatre, Bride Lane, London EC4Y 8EQ at 1pm on Tuesday to Friday from 23 June to 10 July. Tickets £5 in advance; £6 on the door. Call the box office on 020 7353 3331 or visit www.stbridefoundation.org to find out more.
