Knit Facial Hair In Public

Fans of facial hair that lack the right amount of testosterone to grow their own, your time has come! The Stitch and Bitch London Tashtastic Knit Crawl takes to the streets on Saturday 13 June and this time they're doing it for blokes' bits, crafting fine moustaches for The Prostate Cancer Charity. Everyone is welcome, knitter or not as well as genuine bearers of facial hair. The Stitchettes will be on hand to cast you on and set you off with a pair of sticks and some yarn at the following four locations: Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, London Eye and Trafalgar Square.

Patterns for the tashes are available on the S&B website in exchange for a donation to the charity so even if you can't join the crawl, you need not feel left out and those whose skills aren't quite up to fashioning a fine line of fur for their upper lip can get one on the crawl, ready made, for a donation to the cause.

The finer details of the Knit Crawl itinerary are all on the website and we're looking forward to the photos already.
