Ukes At The Proms

The BBC's released the line-up for this year's Proms, running 17 July-12 September. We quite like the sound of the celebration of MGM musicals with, um, Curtis Stigers joining the Maida Vale Singers and others to belt out songs from The Wizard Of Oz, Singin' In The Rain and more. 16 August is Indian Voices Day and two days later the Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain play The Ride of the Valkyries, Beethoven and The Who.
