Bad Karma Police

2703_rope.jpg It seems that sensitivity training isn't a key part of policing in Wales, or perhaps a real-life Cluedo game got out of hand. An Amersham widow was stunned to receive, among her late husband's possessions, the bloodstained rope which he'd used to commit suicide. The towrope was returned to her following an inquest in Cardiff along with various other recovered belongings, in three bags, two of which managed to spell Mr. Gilmore's name incorrectly. Police in Barry, south Wales, where the body was discovered, have sincerely apologised, yet Ms. Gerrelli, estranged from her husband for four years, remains understandably affected.
