Not content simply to let the masses eat their cake (not to mention their walnut brownie chunk cookies), “US style cake emporium” Outsider Tart is now gonna help Londoners learn how to bake their own with the launch of its “Bakers Dozen” masterclass. These classes - of no more than 13 participants - are to be hosted at OT's Frith Street (Soho) kitchen by Outsider Tart co-founders, David Lesniak and David Muniz, and to feature all sorts of baking tips, samples, friendly banter and recipes taught to the Davids by their dear ole moms. Sweet! Price per head is £75 and includes ingredients and champagne/drinks. That might sound a bit steep to some Londonist readers, but if the classes are anything like the sneak peek masterclass that we sat in on yesterday, we reckon you’ll be walking (er, rather waddling) away from the class with plenty of goodies, a better sense of baking and smile on your face from the good time had. For more information, visit the Outsider Tart website for more details or contact them at [email protected].
