We were musing over Camden's popularity just the other week. Now here's an opportunity to have another look at NW1 under the influence of a treasure hunt and on a mission to photograph its hidden treasures and horny underbelly.

Shoot Experience create 'interactive photographic events' that are open to anyone and this one's in partnership with Camden Unlimited, the local business partnership, with an agenda to make Camden cleaner, greener, more inviting... in fact, all the things that might render Camden anathema to those of us who treasure our memories of it unrepentingly embodying skanksville. However, that need not bother you. All you need are some keen mates, a digital camera, £7.50 each and with a fair wind you're off on an adventure, seeking Camden Stories. Solve the clues and snap the solutions creatively.

There will be prizes but perhaps more alluringly, there will be a post shoot exhibition some time in October at a Gallery on Parkway so, if you're trying to get into photography, this might well justify the entry fee for you.

If you do go and capture Camden, please share some of your snaps with us in the Londonist Flickrpool and help us make up our mind about it.

Capture Camden starts at The Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Road, Camden on Sunday 28th September at 11:15am. It's £7.50 per person to enter and pre-booking is essential.
