Dry Spell Over?

Good news!

Four water firms in the south east of England are lifting their hosepipe bans after months of above average rainfall.

Thames Water, Southern Water, Three Valleys Water and Sutton and East Surrey Water have lifted the ban, which affected more than 13m customers.

Go on then, what are you waiting for? Go frolic outside with your hosepipes. Of course we advise you to tie yourselves securely to the hosepipe first in case you get blown into the air by the bloody great big storm that is currently pounding our double glazing.

Let's hope that even now Thames Water are sending teams of workmen out to drill holes in pipes to get rid of some of that pesky excess water. After all it's not a real summer anymore without a good drought and the water companies reminding us that we waste too much of the wet stuff.
