It's all kicking off in Wandsworth:
A man who was due to be evicted has turned on the gas in his flat and is threatening to blow it up. Police have evacuated the Sudbury House block of flats in Wandsworth, south-west London, as well as the nearby Southside shopping centre. Officers have been negotiating with him since he locked himself in when council officials came round to evict him on Thursday morning. Police were called to reports of two people being assaulted at the scene. A number of lanes on Wandsworth High Street have been closed, causing major traffic problems. Motorists are being told to avoid the area.
