City of London Police have released CCTV footage of a man swimming in the Thames. Never a good idea that, but this guy ended up in the water after jumping from London Bridge:
He is believed to have leapt 40ft off London Bridge in central London into cold water at 0226 BST after a row with some students, on 22 September. Despite efforts to rescue him, he disappeared and police are uncertain whether he survived. He identified himself to officers who intervened in the row, as Robert Briggs, 23, from north London.
Police can't confirm if that was his real name so if you recognise him or have any other information about the incident the number to call is 0207 601 2222.
