Think you can pull together a horror movie that lasts just two minutes? Then the Horror Channel would like to hear from you:
CUT! is a new short horror film competition, just launched by The Horror Channel in association with Ghost House Mobile. Entrants are encouraged to send in a two-minute horror film. The winners will get the chance to see their names in lights and their films on the big screen. The films will also be edited for mobile and made available on an exclusive Horror Channel WAP site launching this month and on Ghost House Mobile.
Your entries will be judged by Sam Raimi's producing partner Rob Tapert, Troma legend Lloyd Kaufman and horror expert Alan Jones. The winner bags £5,000 and the top films will be shown at the next Frightfest. The closing date for competition entries is 16 June 2006 and you can get all the details here.
We're going to have a pop at this one ourselves as soon as we track down a willing scantily dressed actress and a couple of buckets of fake blood...
