An enormous pool filled with 14,000 colourful balls comes to the banks of the Thames next week for two days only — and it's free to have a go.
It is of course a marketing stunt — Virgin Holidays is launching the pool to encourage us to 'say balls to boring' now that summer's over. But if you can cut through the branding, you might be in luck, as four people will win holidays. Just look out for the golden balls among the colourful ones, and you could win a trip to Las Vegas, Barbados, Antigua or Universal Resort Orlando. Bazinga indeed.
The 'Say Balls To Boring' ball pool is at Observation Point, South Bank (just west of Oxo Tower and Gabriel's Wharf), 11am-7pm on Thursday 13 September and 9am-6pm on Friday 14 September. It's free to have a go.
