A Time-Travelling Roller Disco Festival Wheels Into Tottenham

Get your skates on!

That's what London's Roller Disco at Roller Nation did, by moving from Vauxhall — where it was held at the Renaissance Rooms — to Tottenham, its new home.

As it's now settled into its new north London home, the club is holding a one day festival to celebrate. The theme is 'skate through the decades'. Things kick off at noon where the tunes will date back to the 60s, and then as the day wears on, tunes from the seventies, eighties (roller disco's heyday), and even 2019, will be booming out.

The retro feel is furthered — as if you possibly needed any more retro, you're at a bloomin' roller disco! — by your own sartorial sense and that of your fellow skaters. Lycra, hot pants and leg warmers are all encouraged.

It's a 14 hour event, but don't panic, you don't have to skate till your thighs become jelly. There a bar and street food on hand to keep you going.

Roller Disco at Roller Nation takes place on 22 June 2019, from noon-2am, juniors are allowed until 7pm. Tickets cost £10.
