We're Launching A Croydon-Centric Newsletter!

Love Croydon? Teensy bit Croydon curious? Not so sure about Croydon at all?

Have we got the thing for you. Our Londonist: Croydon Edit newsletter is coming this June. It's piloted by Londonist editor and Croydonian Will Noble, and it's about all things in the borough of Croydon. Stuff like:

  • Features on Croydon's crazily rich history and the many people who've called it home
  • Interviews with Croydon businesses, charities and everyone who makes the place tick
  • Walks around the green swathes of the borough (and maybe a few of the not-so-green too)
  • All the latest on new Croydon openings, exhibitions, gigs and events
  • Recommendations for events, pubs, restaurants and more
  • Exclusive Croydony offers

Is the newsletter for people who live in Croydon? Well, yes (there are almost 400,000 of you after all). But even if you're not local to the Valley of the Crocuses, we suggest coming along for the (tram) ride to learn about all the stuff that's gone down in this often misunderstood and underestimated quarter of London — as well as all the things that are on the horizon.

Sign up to receive emails from Londonist: Croydon Edit here.

Londonist already has two newsletters you might want to get stuck into: Londonist: Urban Palette (for those looking for exhibition reviews, free public art, and all things London arts world) and Londonist: Time Machine (joyfully nerdy in-depth dives into the lesser-known stories of the history of the city).
