If you remember buying a copy of Definitely Maybe when it first came out, prepare to feel old — that was 25 years ago.
For a swaggering shot of 90s nostalgia — a time when you were younger, and Oasis were... gooder — a free exhibition on Noel, Liam and The Other Ones, comes to London in November.
Masterplan 25: The Oasis Photographs features the works of Michael Spencer Jones, the band's official photographer, who captured everything from intimate recording seshes to groundbreaking gigs — plus a handful of iconic album covers for good measure.
The artwork and outtakes for Oasis' first three albums will be on display — and even though Be Here Now turned out to be a coke-addled self-love-in, the photo on the front was pretty cool.
Immersive mock ups — including Bonehead's front room, and a semi-submerged Rolls-Royce — will let you recreate the album covers. (We wouldn't be surprised if Liam rocked up, just to relive the good old days.)
Spencer Jones is also displaying original handwritten song lyrics, fan letters and props from his myriad shoots with the band.
Masterplan 25: The Oasis Photographs is at h Club Gallery, 24 Endell Street from 22 November 2019-12 January 2020. Entry is free
