A man is doing a 200 mile walk around the capital, using GPS tracking to draw a huge outline of his own body within the M25.
Martin Pirongs began his 'M25 Man' walk on 1 April in Crews Hill (dubbed 'Garden Centre Land') in Enfield, a spot which forms the top of his giant gentleman's head. He's since walked down to a shoulder in Arnos Grove, stuck a thumb out in Hatch End and waved the rest of a hand in Northwood.
He crossed the Thames on Wandsworth Bridge, which caused a bit of a kink in his path at hip height.
At time of writing (5 April), he's 80 miles in, and wending his way up the inner seam of a leg between Banstead and Sutton on the London-Surrey border.
Based on his current trajectory, we anticipate the crotch being somewhere in the Brixton/Dulwich vicinity, the second foot poking back into Surrey somewhere around Whyteleafe, and his other hand stretching out towards Romford.
The whole walk is expected to take two weeks from start to finish.
