Canary Wharf's Colourful (And Free!) Minigolf Course Is Back

Well, that's brightened up the skycraper-heavy area.

Canary Wharf's free minigolf course has reopened for its summer 2023 season, adding a splash of colour beneath the skyscrapers.

Head to Montgomery Square and you can't miss the nine-hole course — it's a psychedelic, Fun House-esque masterpiece, consisting of vivid colours, bold patterns and geometric shapes, designed by artist duo Craig & Karl.

Don't fancy coming face-to-face with those colours on a hangover...

Features of the holes include a jump ramp (neon orange, naturally), and a pink and yellow chequered bridge, and there's definite potential for a few trick shows and a bit of friendly (or heated) competition.

Nearby, free-to-use ping pong tables can be found in Montgomery Square and Union Square, so you can move the japes onto there once you've tackled these nine holes.

Minigolf by Craig & Karl is open daily, 12pm-6pm in Montgomery Square. It's free, no booking — just turn up and find one of the event stewards for your clubs and balls.
