There's a new addition to London's nocturnal music and dining scene, combining live jazz and blues, late-night dining and wine pairings. The place? 28°-50° by Night, a smart, split-level bar, restaurant and live music venue, just a five-minute walk from Bond Street station and Oxford Street.

Live jazz, until 2am
Whenever you go, you're guaranteed a lively evening. 28°-50° by Night opens Tuesday-Saturday, and you can expect live jazz and blues music from globally-renowned artists every night. The party goes on until 2am in both the bar and the restaurant, making it an ideal spot for a post-theatre dinner or drinks, or a big night out.
At time of writing, renowned London jazz pianist Dave Ferris, jazz tenor saxophonist Leo Richardson (who's worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue and Gregory Porter), and singer-songwriter Stella Angelika are on the programme in the coming weeks — with everything from blues, swing, Brazilian classics and American Songbook hits on offer.

On the menu
Whether you're after a delicious meal, or just a couple of classy bevvies, you'll find it at 28°-50° by Night. The à la carte menu is a feast of modern European dishes, ranging from cheese and charcuterie selections, to slow cooked duck leg, and ribeye steak. The post-theatre menu (served 10pm-midnight) offers two courses for £29.95 — pick a starter and main course, or main and dessert, from the likes of crab salad, pea risotto, and profiteroles. Something a little lighter? The Bar Bites menu offers sharing platters and cheese selections. You can browse the current menus online.
As for the drinks, 28°-50° by Night has a sommelier on hand to suggest wines to pair with your meal. The venue offers wine tasting experiences too, led by a passionate sommelier who talks you through the award-winning list, whether you're a vino novice or a seasoned sipper.
Over in the bar, cocktails are a speciality, with classics like negronis, Aperol spritzes and espresso martinis whipped up in front of your eyes by expert bartenders. Lounge in the bar all night, or head here after your meal for a post-dinner aperitif.
Your next party, sorted
Got a birthday or anniversary coming up, or already thinking about your (whisper it...) Christmas party? Thanks to its theatre-style set-up, 28°-50° by Night has a range of areas available for private hire. The VIP Square is adjacent to the bar and the stage, and offers an intimate dining experience for 6-8 people, where you can enjoy the live music as you dine. The Stage is a larger area, seating up to 40 with the option of a private bar, while Upper Circle Dining can seat 30 for dinner, or up to 45 for drinks, with lounge-style seats.
