Burgers, Beer And Reggae: StrEATlife Festival Returns

This is a sponsored article on behalf of Alexandra Palace.

Looking for somewhere to head for global street food, craft beer and live music on a sunny weekend? Good news — StrEATlife, the summer street food festival at Alexandra Palace, returns on 17 and 18 June.

With an abundance of traders and a fabulous music line-up, this foodie event is completely free to enter, and offers one of the best views of London to boot. It's a no-brainer really.

StrEATlife has already popped up once at Alexandra Palace, and there are another three weekends scheduled over the summer. This upcoming June edition promises delicious street food including vegan grub from Rainforest Creations, steamed buns from Le Bao and smoky ribs from Bodeans.

There's something for everyone when it comes to food — and the same applies on the music front. The schedule for 17 and 18 June will see Showhawk Duo headlining on Saturday, and DJ Reggae Roast taking to the stage on Sunday — so make sure you take your dancing shoes.

A street food festival would be nothing without a decent drinks selection too. As well as a craft beer range to keep every hipster happy, there'll be cocktails from DASH, summer in a glass courtesy of the Pimm's bar, and even alcoholic coconut creations served holiday-style in the shell from Shocka.

On the Saturday, you can check out the live street art demonstrations for an insight into the incredible skill of one of London's best graffiti artists. Warning: may result in severe talent envy.

What makes StrEATlife more special than other street food festivals is its location. The stunning grounds of Alexandra Palace are the perfect setting for a summery celebration, and offer amazing views of the city and plenty of green space to relax in.

Get ready to eat, drink and dance and head on over to this epic foodie weekend. If you can't make this one, don't panic — StrEATlife will be back in July and August. Entrance to the festival is free, but bringing cash is advised. Find out more about who'll be appearing at the June event here.
