Tower Bridge is hosting its first photography exhibition, showcasing the work of photographer Martin Parr.
Images by Parr will be on display in the historic Engine Rooms from 21 November 2016 until March 2017.
Parr has been City of London's photographer-in-residence since 2013, which has allowed him a unique insight into some of the city's more unusual traditions. Expect images from the swan upping down the river Thames, to beating the bounds at All Hallows by the Tower.
Visitors will also be treated to behind-the-scenes shots from the City of London's annual Pancake Race, and the Gloves Ceremony hosted by The Worshipful Company of Glovers at the Royal Courts of Justice.
If this show is anything like Parr's last exhibition, Unseen Photos, we're in for a treat. Parr has a knack of capturing not only the people who expect to end up in front of the lens, but also more candid shots of spectators and passers by.
Swans, Gloves, Roses and Pancakes: Photos by Martin Parr is on display in the Engine Rooms at Tower Bridge 21 November 2016-March 2017. Admission to the exhibition is included admission to the Tower Bridge Exhibition.
