Sample A Taste Of Christmas At Festive Foodie Festival

The Laurent-Perrier Club House

Taste of London, the city's favourite foodie event, is going all festive for its next endeavour — and you can get in the Christmas spirit with our special money-off ticket offer.

Running from 17-20 November at Tobacco Dock, Taste of London: Festive Edition will see food from the capital's top restaurants, talks from the biggest names in the cheffing world, and plenty of workshops popping up at this four day event.

Londonist readers can get discounted tickets for this ultimate foodie paradise, but with popularity soaring, we'd suggest you Ready Steady Book.

Learn from the experts at the AEG Taste Theatre

Come hungry, as 15 restaurants and over 50 artisan producers will be cooking and selling everything from curry to cupcakes.

As well as the chance to sample award winning dishes from London's most exclusive establishments — including Jose Pizarro and Tom's Kitchen — there will be plenty of opportunities to learn the tricks of the trade yourself. The AEG Taste Theatre will see talks from chefs including Tom Kerridge — and even a Q&A session with Marcus Wareing.

Get hands-on at the AEG Take Taste Further Kitchen

If you fancy being a bit more hands-on, there will be workshops at AEG's Take Taste Further Kitchen, fully equipped with the latest and shiniest cookery gadgets.

Bake Off fans can try their luck in the Patissier's Pantry, where visitors can take part in short classes on festive cakes and bakes. Or for the more booze-inclined, budding mixologists will be glad to know there is no shortage of alcohol inspired tutorials: Pirate's Grog will be teaching the art of the Espresso Rumtini, and Mews of Mayfair will spill their secrets in cocktail classes on Saturday and Sunday.

Cocktail classes - shaken not stirred

Perhaps you are more of a taster than a creator: if so, the Craft Beer Trail may be the thing for you. Sample ales from a selection of craft brewers, and learn more about the process that makes the pint. Each beer will even have a complementary food pairing to go alongside, just to tickle your taste buds (and perhaps soak up the alcohol).

Floral decorations from Bloomon

Taste of London will help you get prepared for Christmas and avoid that inevitable last minute panic. There will be plenty of opportunity for present-buying, and even tips on how to make your home all festive this December — check out Bloomon's workshop on seasonal floral decorations for inspiration.

Hard work, though — all that cooking, learning and shopping. So rest up with a glass of fizz and a plate of something tasty at the glam and sophisticated Champagne Laurrent Perrier's Club House. Or sit back and relax while being serenaded at the Piano Bar. For those with a bit more energy, take to the dance floor with Guilty Pleasures DJs, who will be blasting out all those cringe-classics from Christmas parties gone-by.

Cheesy tunes are on the agenda

With the chance to save money on your tickets, booking now for this foodie extravaganza is a no-brainer. Simply enter code LONDONIST at the checkout to get £12 tickets for 17 and 18 November, or entry for £15 on 19 and 20 November.
