Join In With A Mass Karaoke Singalong Near Tower Bridge

You can join in a free mass karaoke singing session this Friday night at the Scoop at More London.

Starting this Friday (17 June) and running every Friday until 8 July, there'll be a 'Massaoke!' extravaganza in the Scoop starting at 6.30pm.

It's you, your mates, and everyone else in the crowd belting out the best singalong karaoke anthems from the 70s, 80s and 90s, with all the lyrics up on the big screen, accompanied by a live rock band.

This is just one event in an eclectic line-up of free treats at Bankside by Tower Bridge, making up the free London Bridge City Summer Festival.

Look out for live bands, dance classes, film screenings and theatre shows, all for free, taking place in The Scoop amphitheatre, inside Hay's Galleria, and around More London.

The free film screenings include Fame, Purple Rain, Princess Bride and Top Gun.

Plus you can watch Wimbledon (27 June-10 July) and the Rio Olympics (6-21 August) on the big screen in The Scoop.

The free festival extends into September with open air theatre from the Gods and Monsters Theatre troupe.

This year's free open air theatre shows are Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky, and Prince Ivan & The Grey Wolf, based on Ivan, The Firebird and The Grey Wolf — an Eastern European fairy tale first published at around the same time as Crime and Punishment.

Performances take place every week between Wednesday and Sunday, from 31 August-25 September, and are also free.

London Bridge City Summer Festival runs until 25 September, and all the events are free! Visit the website to find out more.
